Known for their traditional machines, SCM make some of the most popular panel saws around. This SI16WA is an older model, which was heavily overengineered to have a wide working table and cast iron tables.
The rip fence is mounted on a solid round bar. The aluminium fence rotates for handling thin material and blade tilting. The mainblade assembly has both tilt and rise and fall operations, with the angle being measured off a large, easy to read scale.
